As a mother, you want to give your child the best. But the market is full of products that look good, cost a lot, and don't tell the whole truth on the label. Here are the most common mistakes — and how to avoid them.
1. You buy based on price, not certification
Expensive does not automatically mean safe. And cheap does not automatically mean dangerous. Certifications — OEKO-TEX, BPA Free, EN71 — matter, not the price on the label.
2. You ignore the ingredients list
For baby care products, the first 5 ingredients are the most important. If you see synthetic fragrance, parabens, or alcohol in the first positions, put the product down.
3. You rely on "pediatrician recommended"
This phrase has no legal value. Any brand can use it without real verification. Instead, look for clinical studies or independent certifications.
4. You buy too much too soon
Babies grow fast and their needs change every 2-3 months. Buy in stages, not all at once — you save money and avoid products that don't fit their age.
5. You don't check the product's origin
A product manufactured without European standards may contain substances banned in the EU. Always check if the product complies with European safety directives.
At Nuzelio, we check every product before it reaches you. Because you shouldn't have to become a chemistry expert to buy a toy.
